The Vision Transportation Group (VTG) has carried out a thorough study and proposal with Hanoi city, the Government, ministries and branches to implement the No.2 urban railway project connecting Noi Bai airport to Ho Chi Minh city. Before this proposal, Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung asked VTG to work specifically with Hanoi city, ministries and branches of Vietnam before the detailed report submitted to the Government.

He also suggested VTG to study more investment projects, develop other infrastructure, especially railway transport infrastructure, including the North-South high-speed railway.
