The rail industry has recognized the limitations of air transportation. The success of high speed train applications in Europe and Asia has confirmed the ability to economically move large number of passengers over long distance dedicated corridors. More and more countries have recognized and are applying the benefits of high speed trains and are considering large infrastructure investments. VTG has participated in numerous high speed rail studies and has contributed to the implementation of successful high speed train projects. It is actively participating in the on-going procurement of some of the largest high speed rail in the world. VTG successfully assembled and qualified an international consortium for the prestigious High Speed Rail Project between the cities of Makkah, Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia.
